Just wondered if anyone has tried drinking this water instead of tap water. I only drink evian and am considering buying a water ioniser that creates hydrogen..

Isn't that expensive? I know someone who bought one of those things and discovered it was nothing but a rip off. She's still paying on it a year or two later and the magic health water hasn't helped a sole.

The one I'm looking at is $500.. Not all of them create hydrogen tho.. I spend $8 a day on bottled water

I really don't want to discourage people from trying things because I do it myself. It's just that I personally know someone who bought one of those machines and had given water to a bunch of different people to cure them of their various health problems and it hasn't helped one person. It was even supposed to cure cancer. It's just water. After investigating more on it afterwards she realized it was nothing but a scam to sell $500 water making machines and she is still making monthly payments on it. In my opinion you are better off investing in some kind of filtration system but I wouldn't expect that to help your UC either, but it might be better health wise than tap water or store bought water.

Can you just try the water somehow without buying the machine? The person I know, she bought the machine and handed out free jugs of water for people's health problems and they were supposed to see how miraculous it was and then want to buy the machine from her and she would get a cut out of the pie. It's a MLM pyramid thing. Trouble with her was, no one experienced any health benefits from the water she handed out so no one bought a machine from her and she got stuck paying for her own machine, low "man" on the pyramid. I think in reality the sellers are hoping it has the placebo effect on those who drink it, not knowing it is from the placebo effect only, and want to buy their own machines. I did some searching on it myself because she kept on wanting me to drink some of her free water to cure me but I discovered in my searching that the ionized water may react unfavorably with meds you are taking so I wouldn't drink any.

There might be something to it.

Sounds like you are trying to cut down on the daily cost by spending a lot up front so I'm wondering: do you think you see benefits from drinking 8$/day of Evian as opposed to just filtered tap water?

You know, most of us have tried things that sounded weird to our peers. Kefir enemas come to mind. If you want to try it and there are no dangerous side effects, why not get one of the "hydrogen sticks" and see if it helps? They are under $10.

Water is hydrogen anyway. H2O. Doesn't make any sense to me. Think people just want to cash in on others unfortunate illnesses and their journey for a cure.

Kinda off topic, but wondering why you decided on Evian water specifically. I love the taste of Evian but its so pricey. Maybe if you have some info on why it's superior I can justify it for myself

I saw a taste test done on different brand name waters and people actually preferred the cheaper brands taste wise to the more expensive brands.

I drink good ole tap water. Why pay for bottled water when I am already paying for water. :)

What we are talking about
here is free hydrogen gas dissolved in the water.
It will act as a reducing agent in you gut if you drink it,at least that is the theory.

Evian because its the least acidic water.. And to reduce the amount of chlorine killing off friendly bacteria.. And the hydrogen water for the hydrogen benefits..
