Personally, I'd take the DIY approach to save money. Screen the donor, run em through a questionaire and get rolling.

This is how Michael Hurst or FecalTransplantWithUC got rid of his UC if you saw his recent posts. He has some nice videos on youtube as well if you are interested.

I do think that there's a high possibility of success if the appropriate steps and precautions are taken. I mentioned before that the donor absolutely has to have the bacterial diversity and the proper strains (e. coli nissle 1917 included) in the stools.
