Hi dear friends What is the name of my disease ? I have proctitis or ulcerative colitis or chronic ?

Biopsy result

two small fragment of soft creamy tissue 0.3*0.2*0.2

rectal biopcy: mild chronic non-specific proctitis

The biopsy says "Proctitis" which is a form of Ulcerative Colitis that is limited to a part of the large intestine known as the rectum. The inflammation they saw was classified as "moderate." Inflammation is classified as mild, moderate, or severe; and you are in the middle.

Ulcerative Colitis is a "Chronic", life-long disease meaning it never goes away. Refer to our "Ulcerative Colitis Resources" section at the top of this forum, we have some great information in there for you to read. Educate yourself and learn what you can about your disease.

Just be sure to find a good doctor, and start treating it right away. I was diagnosed with mild ulcerative colitis up to colon descendens. Due to maltreatment it progressed into horrifying severe UC a year after. I know how lost a person feels after the diagnosis. ASK QUESTIONS here and at your doctors. Inform yourself. People who suffered for a longer period give good advice. With the right treatment, you will have minimal problems. Best of luck! :)
