Quick Question: Wife Has Pains Same Spot As I Have UC Pains...

Quick question while I'm on: my wife was telling me tonight that she hurt in her abdomen, and pointed to the same spot as I hurt when I'm flaring. It was up and to her left of the naval area, right around where the colon turns back down on the left side.

She has some gut issues. She has been going a couple times a day she says. It used to be normal for her to go just once. There was also a time in the past couple years where she went 4-6 times a day. Caffeine is a major contributor she says.

Hopefully she doesn't have any IBD issues. What else could cause a pain around that area?

Didn't she have IBS issues? I sometimes have pain in the exact area which hurts when I'm flaring although I'm not flaring. I know in my case it's gas.

My hubby had the same pain, he found out he has Celiacs, it's a good idea for her to get checked out, my hubby left it for years before he finally found out what was going on.
