I hate to say this but maybe you need to avoid these situations until you get your condition more under control.
Wish I had that convenience. I must work and continue on, I can't just sit back and let my financial status dwindle while I wait for perfect days to arrive. I know you are not suggesting to wait for perfect days, I understand your idea
....I have "pushed through" so much since being diagnosed in Dec 1999. From the severe pain, diarrhea, blood, fatigue etc...I can't let the idea of a roadside "explosion" keep me home...ya know? I REALLY do wish I had that option to access sometimes. Peace
Add on: I feel that if I ever end up with an ostomy I will be DONE trying to work through everything. I will take time off work, go for disability, medical marijuana, whatever, I only have "so much" left to contribute to this ugly world and striving to survive all the time. For now I am doing all I can to keep pushing on...as I am sure we all are
