Ordering Asacol HD from Canada

Hi,

I've read through the forums regarding various pharmacies in Canada I can order Asacol HD from, and I've got it narrowed down to a few. However, since I don't see "Asacol HD" on any of their lists, what is it referred to there? Is it the 800 mg Asacol? I've also seen Asacol DR and Asacol MR on some sites so wasn't sure if one of those were equivalent.

Also, I see Asacol Canada, which is listed as Actavis, Asacol, which is listed as brand, and of course generic mesalamine. What is the difference between Actavis and brand?

I don't know the difference but you can probably compare the ingredients and dosages. I always bought generic mesalamine when I ordered from Canada. It's usually the leads expensive and it seemed to work well for me.
