When you say you are trying a "natural approach" what does that mean exactly?
You might try reading up on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. That's about the best organized dietary approach that I've seen, although lots of other ideas circulate on this board. Some have success, others not.
Another simpler approach is to eliminate the common irritants: lactose, gluten and then casein. I would do them sequentially. Lactose you can get rid of in a day or two and evaluate any improvements. Gluten you will need to avoid completely for at least two weeks, four would be better, before deciding whether it made a difference for you. Casein is harder to eliminate than both of these things (it is present in many, many processed foods and everything dairy) but improvements should be evident pretty quickly.
There are herbal and other remedies discussed here. Search the forum for turmeric, LDN, wild oregano....probably others but I cannot recall all. The resource link at the top of the forum should have a lot of this info.
