Fecal incontinence

Does anyone else experience fecal in continence? I am not having a flare right now so I'm a little confused as to the reason behind this. It's only been a few weeks. The doc adjusted my meds to see if it's a side effect.

I'm 34 and I refuse to believe that this is how I have to live....or what I get to took forward to in my life. How do you deal with this as an ongoing issue? I can't imagine what I will do if this doesn't go away, it's horrible.

I go to pass gas and I have an accident. Then, I go to the bathroom and I have D.

It wouldn't be a normal thing to have fecal incontinence without you having
1) mechanical problem with the sphincter at the anus
2) nerve damage/kooky signals in the rectum/anus
3) hemmies or fissure in the anus
4) flare

Have you had stool testing done?

What meds are you on?

Are you taking probiotics and/or fibre?

What makes you think you're not flaring?

Did you just have the scope done? Sorry I can't remember who has had what done when.

For most of us, your symptoms would mean a flare.

Has it been this way the entire time you have been on vanco? Even before that?
