Will my UC stop me from going to the amusement park?

Before UC, I loved going on roller coasters and just anything at the amusement park. I'm planning on going this Tuesday. But I thought about it and since there's adrenaline, it may kick-start a flare...and I don't want to risk that.

I'm on Sulfasalazine as my maintenance med. I've had on and off diarrhea with formed stools in between. No urgency, no pain, no bleeding. The diarrhea isn't completely liquid..it has some "fluffier" pieces. Today I had a formed stool. -- Is this normal?


How should I go about this?

As long as you are in remission you really shouldn't have any problems.

I recommend avoiding rides that spin continuously as they make me so nauseous since uc. I've done rollercoasters just fine even without achieving remission with uc. Good thing the bathrooms are well marked on the map of most amusement parks and you might need them if jostled around to much.

If you feel up to it, go for it! I don't think the rides will cause a flare.
