Not sure what this means cant get the paper,but am contacting the author.

But something may have happened a long time ago,MAP,cooking methods,fats.

I am big into the historical aspects of IBD.

Thanks much. The author was also quick.
What I guess I can say is that time trends reveal, some early childhood infection as a causal event,for UC.

A second event needed to manifest as Crohn's.
Back then who knows what it may have been,MAP comes to mind.
