nix the distal and change it to proctosigmoid and make another left-side which would include all sigmoid and into the descending colon. Distal is more a term rather than a diagnosis and could be distal colon or distal rectum.
What does the none apply mean?

I was diagnosed with pancolitis.
However, I highly doubt that with the mild flare I recently had, that my entire colon was once again inflamed. The symptoms were so mild it just doesn't seem possible.
I think that my official diagnosis will always be pancolitis.

People go in and out of these types based on their disease progression and effeciveness of the meds or other treatments.
