The mode of actions of the Adacolumn therapeutic leucocytapheresis in patients with inflammatory bow

I received this treatment in the UK on a clinical trial. In just 8 sessions once a week of having my blood filtered (and no drugs pumped into me) I was brought out of a severe flare up and into full remission, which lasted about a year (I flare once a year).

It's the only thing that gets me into remission, unfortunately it costs £2,000 per session, and most people need around 8-10 sessions.
