I miss coffee so much. It's the hardest thing I've had to give up, hands down. For me, I'm pretty sure it's the caffeine that does me in.
Can anyone recommend a good decaf? I've been trying different ones since I was diagnosed, and haven't found anything acceptable yet. I can even smell the difference between real coffee and decaf. Unfortunately, I'm in a somewhat rural area and don't have access to Trader Joes and such.
I just want to have a cup after dinner once in awhile and pretend that things are normal.
You raise an interesting point. I have considered trying coffee, but I am a little hesitant to rock the boat.
According to Dave Asprey (bulletproof exec), most of mainstream coffee is supposedly riddled with mycotoxins, so I would think that getting the right brand (decaf or not) is important for us UCers.
