Mucas in stools??

Hello I'm hearing a lot about mucus in stools. What should you be looking for? I'm having fully formed stools but towards the end of my visit they go from formed to with out sounding crude like a thick whipped chocolate ice cream if that make sense, which sits on top.

I hope that make sense its hard to explain. But on the most part fully formed.

Sorry for the graphic detail I am just wondering if that is what you mean by mucus??

It's the whitish-yellow, yellow, or yellow brown in color stuff which comes out with your stool or sits on top of it. Sometimes it comes out before the stool, at least for me. I pooped my pants with it countless times.

At least now I know what to look out for. I think i'm ok at present just want to be absolutely sure just watching everything a I tapper the pred.

the mucus will often be red because it is mixed with blood - especially when the whole BM is mucus.

You will definitely know when it is mucous. I often get it at the very end of my bm, and often mucous on the tp. As someone else also mentioned, it often has a red hue to it from the blood.
