Sugarcrave, the color of the skin does not mean anything regarding TB. If the skin where you got the test is raised, that is when your test is positive - but that doesn't mean you have TB. People whose skin is raised in the test area are usually sent for a chest x-ray. If it's clear, you're fine; if there's an issue with the chest x-ray they may have you do a sputum test to see if it's active TB, which is rare in the US.
So, don't worry about the color or blotch. When you went back to have your arm read, the nurse probably ran her finger over the test area. That was to see if the skin was raised or not.
