Ahhhhhhhhhhhh !
finally the blast furnace of a summer is over !!!! don't know how all the rest of you fared heat index wise, but this is the second year in a row that the month of july the was the hottttttest on record !
the lawn, garden, and me took a beating this summer - no amount of water seemed to make much of a difference -
I am so glad to not need 2 showers a day - at least for another 6 months or so -

Over? Heh heh, here in Florida it's an endless summer. Or as a lot like to joke: we have two seasons - summer and hurricane season! Today's high is 93, low of 78, 60% chance of rain. Where do you live that it's cooling down? Living in a place with seasons is foreign to me, different wardrobes & car maintenance etc.
What does OT mean?

It's still very hot here in Southern California but it has been bearable. The heat started really early this year and I imagine it will hang on for a while longer. I am actually looking forward to the cooler weather and not needing air conditioning 24/7 - but on the other hand, I hate the type of cold where you have to bundle up so I try not complain much about
the heat

It's been a bearable summer with much less humidity than last year's. That's the killer for me no matter the temps. It was nice to have a long stint without rain too.
I'm hoping for an awesome fall till Christmas..lol

We have had a fairly cool summer this year but today is hot and humid in WNY! Our winters are so long I am happy to have the warmth a bit longer.

Hee hee hee, this made me giggle.
I'm sad summer is over. I'm up in Canada, I've got a long cold winter ahead

Living in Costa Rica means we are blessed with nearly perfect weather all the time! that being said when a storm is over the house its really very frightening, with thunder and lightening literally shaking the windows...and the earthquakes we get are terrifying..still, mustn't complain!

I agree with momto2 boys....I also live in western NY and we have not had much of a summer...way too much rain. I would love a couple more months of warm weather. Today was very nice, went to my sister's camp site and got to hang out with my great nephew..went swimming, fishing, wagon ride and best of all my digestive system cooperated. Just did my second set of loading doses of Humira yesterday..it seems to be helping a lot...now if I can finish the Prednisone taper...down to 10 mg tomorrow, keeping my fingers crossed that I get off and stay off.
