I used to believe in supplements until I tried them. I was scammed out of thousands of dollars trying supplements which did nothing overall. I was lead to believe in them by searching for pubmed articles about them, listening to people just like the OP proclaim miraculous relief from them.
In my experience, taking psyllium husk powder for me predicatively produces pain and blood on wiping, the psyllium husk is way too rough for my fragile mucousa and is very painful for me. I can produce blood by taking it, and it stops when I stop taking it.
I guess by this way of thinking I have also been scammed out of thousands by pharmaceutical drugs designed for UC. Think about
it.
