Does Canasa Change Stool Color?

Hello, all!

My doc put me on Canasa suppositories 2x/ day to treat some stubborn inflammation that has not gone away with just Remicade. Tonight is my first night using it, what should I expect when I have my daily morning BM? Does it change stool color? I saw that it "melts" but other than that I just don't know what to expect.

It makes my poop have some white in it, mostly just the first bit..the end coming out first. I don't find it gives me loose stools though, well, not looser than they already were. I still have had solid normal BMs after the suppository though.

They give me horrible gas the morning after- just a warning- gas the morning after suppository usage can not be trusted!! It has this's clear oily goop that comes out and it's with great force, there's no holding it back! I was in ikea the morning after using one once and all of the sudden this greasy fart started slowly letting itself out! I clenched and clenched to no avail. ****. Now I make sure to always let as much gas out as I can over the toilet bowl before leaving the house. I also always wear a panty liner placed under my butt the morning after a suppository use...always!
