Finally defeated c diff!!

It was quite a fight... Since I have still been feeling extremely terrible despite double dose of remicade and prednisone, my GI ordered a stool test to see if c diff is still causing my symptoms... And the results show negative!! So yay, I'm happy that is finally over. I kept having positive results since June, and have been on many rounds of antibiotics because of it.

So that just means its definitely just my UC causing each and every symptom. Lately moderate nausea and abdominal pain have been added to the list. I know it's weird, I never really had abdominal pain during my UC flare. But now I'm having quite a bit and it's not fun.

That's great annadee. One battle won is a step in the right direction. Now you can focus on the UC.

When was your last c diff positive?

I had c diff for months. Retched infection. Just horrible.
and on top of UC ugh!

I would believe last time would have been late August when I was in the hospital. It was very awful, so happy it's over... though now I'm feeling just as bad anyway lol. Arghh can't wait for this to be over.

Yay ! I know c diff is a freakin nightmare! It's great to finally stop battling it. UC sucks but UC and c diff is the worst!!!!

Yup!! I remember when I first got c diff... felt so different from my regular UC... both are a pain in the a** so I'm glad I'm at least finished with one of them. Now time to conquer my UC!!!

Please make sure you're taking probiotics at this point.

I'm happy to hear the results were negative...hope it stays that way.

congratulations!!! you've chased away cdiff, now the next step is to get rid of uc :)
