Constipated after colonoscopy

I had a colonoscopy 5 days ago. The day after my colonoscopy I had some diarreha, maybe because the laxatives were still in my system. Now 5 days later I have still not had a bowel movement. I do not normally struggle with constipation. I eat fiber, drink lots of water and excersize. Is there anything I can do to move my bowels along or should I just keep waiting it out?

Try drinking a bit of prune juice daily until your constipation is under control...it's the only thing I could find to help with my constipation issues...increase your water a bit more too if you're not having any luck...feel better soon, the pain from constipation issues is brutal.

Commenting too and following!! Thankfully my scope showed NO colitis......in the beginning that was their thought. Everything fine on the scope I have skin tags and (I assume diverticulitis/osis) hemrroids which I NEVER knew about before and have never given me any pain. After the colonoscopy I went and ate, I was starving after almost 2 days no food. And still no poop!! I'm fine with it for now. Why doesn't it warn us on the release papers after that this could happen?? I have another post here that tells what my scope actually says......but in a nut shell it's all good for 10 more years, follow up in 10 days.
