Well no I paid by Paypal so I don't suppose I'll have a problem getting a refund. I just wanted to know why they would change it like that without letting their customers know.
Anyway after several emails I finally got another rather terse response that said that "the other ingredients are now freeze dried WITH the Qing Dai to produce crystalline granules that survive the digestive process. Qing Dai is indigo dye so everything turns blue in the process".
So I wasn't happy with that either, so I emailed them again asking for some proof like a certificate of analysis and I just got a reply saying
"CCherbal is a co-op not a "for profit" business so, I want to just end this back and forth. Please return the product and I will return your money with shipping.
Also you might want to look at studies that have been done on granular Qing Dai"
Now that sounds to me like they don't want to be open or provide any traceability of their product, and why would they want me to look at studies on granular Qing Dai when they claim it's not just Qing Dai.
I already looked at the study. There's only one a far as I'm aware. The granules just look blueish to me
they don't look like combined herbs or anything like the last lot I had.
So I'm not sure what to do now, whether to trust them or send them back and hope I get a full refund and buy Qing Dai here and hope it's good quality. I'd definitely rather stick with something I know that works, but CCherbals replies don't fill me with confidence.
