You will most likely remain in a flare and get worse unless you get back to the GI doc. You have went through pred and still in a flare. I was about the same age as you when mine started and about as clueless. 20 years later I wish I had a group like this I could have learned from. You think you are going to rely on something natural to help? lol. Maybe. I doubt it. You need to find a drug you don't react to and stick with it. UC is forever in most cases. I was dumb and put off going on remicade for years and ended up with a useless large intestines because of it. You can try whatever you want to but get on something to help you control it while you experiment. I took asacol for years and bled because I didn't know there were other things to take. Not internet then like there is now. You need to go to your doc first and go from there.
