Side effects of Remicade

That is weird about the cystic acne. I always thought cystic pimples were hormonal. I am surprised that it is a possible side effect of a reduced immune system. I got awful acne from prednisone recently. It just made my skin so oily. I don't have the issues you mention at the moment. Did the dermatologist offer you anything for the acne or she just said it's from remicade and dismissed the problem? A lot of people take spirnolactone or antibiotics for acne. I am sure there are some options.

My daughter had most every symptom described in the warning pamphlet, but not that. Acne worsened in the early days of Pred, but not Remi(not that it isn't the case for you). Had hair thinning from the Pred and 6mp, but I think UC /pain/stress can also create hair loss. Usually not enough for strangers to notice, but you can see in your brush or shower drain. You shouldn't have any real bald spots.
Why no hunger? Pain or fear of the output? Just wondering where your inflammation is .Remi did impact the infections that my D got as several were significant. If it gets too bad, it's time to say goodbye to the Anti- tnf's. Your doc can advise about the trade offs.
