Well I thought humira was gonna put me in remission but not yet. Still bleeding and having urgency. Just really really sick of stupid UC. Lately I try to pretend j don't have it and just go about my day lol. And wear pads. So yeah I don't feel anything toward this disease anymore. Feeling like I'll be getting surgery one day and trying to accept it blah

You haven't been on humira long, don't lose hope just yet. I'd give it a month or maybe 1.5 months time.

That stinks. I thought you were doing really well? Maybe you need the injections closer together?? Did you get a few weeks of relief?

That's most of our problems is giving it time. So hard to do when it looks you in the face everyday!

I hope it just starts working soon.

Yeah I had a couple weeks then treatment was interrupted. Now I'm like fairly close to how I was prior humira. I have been on it one month but broken up. Meh :( we will see

Like me, I broke up my budesonide as well, so now back to square one.

Well that's not good to hear Chrissy...too bad your loading doses got so messed up, they may have a lot to do with where you're currently sitting with your flare, but that's not to say that it still won't help you...I think it's more individual for when/if biologics finally kick in and start working.

Chrissy, did you fail Remi too? I know it is a pain to administer, but the dose adjustments are easier. Might be worth exploring.

I think I remember her saying her insurance requires her to try humira before remicade. I guess that will be an option if humira doesn't do the trick and remicade is probably the most likely to work so at least it's an option. I wouldn't give up hope chrissy. You may get much more improvement after your next dose. Some people also do the shots more frequently.

Thank you for the replies guys I appreciate! I'll see what my dr thinks I see him in a week or 2. I have another shot Wednesday. I may need to do weekly shots yes. Katmom- yes my insurance is requiring I fail humira first. notsosickly/ trying to be positive but feeling so frustrated!! Pb- I hope it does help. I know that I am not helping things with my diet too. It isn't exactly what it should be for UC probably. I'm just In denial? Lol who knows. Ah! Hopefully things turn around
