I've never heard of it, but I just Googled it and couldn't really find a ton about
it. Is it a pill or an infusion?

Well its an IL-1b antibody, so in theory it should work roughly like remicade/humira/simponi. But I havent ever heard of it before and highly doubt it is approved anywhere yet, let alone for IBD. Where did he hear about
it?

It is not licensed. There are some trials for eye ulcers. Is he suggesting a UC trial? Do you know if it is a phase II or phase III trial.

"Our results demonstrate that methotrexate blocks the interleukin 1 beta-interleukin 1 receptor pathway. Methotrexate is therefore another interleukin 1 inhibitor and a clinically efficient anticytokine."
Methotrexate is another IL-1 inhibitor.

My Pyoderma came back & he thinks it will also help UC. Unsure if I'll continue to receive IVIG at this point.

It would be good if while treating the skin ulcers, the UC cleared up.

IVIG was able to do that for a number of years. I always thought that as long as I had IVIG my PG would never come back. Sadly, I was wrong. I'm wondering if Entyvivo would help both UC & PG? No idea which drug is better. All I know is that there's a whole in my leg.

Entyevo was made to be colon specific in its action.
