I recently had some blood, but no pain, no urgency, and not much diarrhea. Prior to the flare, I had some awful tastes in my mouth throughout the day – somewhat metallic. This was a new pre-cursor for me, but a different type of short flare. Usually my tongue looks like sandpaper prior to a flare, so this was new to me and I didn’t put two and two together until it was two days too late to do anything. Nice alliteration?!
Has anyone thought of a string of ‘Flare Precursors’ and what you did to stop a flare or significantly reduce its duration, pain, urgency, etc.?
Granted everyone is different, but maybe it would give us a ‘pinned’ resource to search what worked for others and see varying techniques, concoctions, relaxation, etc.
I don’t know what it would look like, or if it would work with all of our differing symptoms, conditions, allergies, triggers, and so forth. Being adults (for the most part), I think we could look through the items with an
open mind and refrain from trying something that is a trigger. I don’t want to eat a horse. Huh?
Maybe it could be ‘had 3 days of a metallic taste in my mouth just like 3 months ago, I took nopal juice (reference the nopal links) and had one day of discomfort versus 10.’ Of course, maybe the bad breath was due to bad nutrition, traveling, allergies, a cold, etc.
In any event, I don’t think it would be a lot of work if it were to be a long string where one would search with the neat-o keen search box on the top ribbon, or a special search within that string. I could see it becoming very detailed and taking a life of its own. Then again, I could see 20 posts and then forget about
it
Plus, if someone asks a question in a new post and it pertains to what you entered in this post, you could reply with that link versus re-typing it, copy/paste, etc.
Just a thought.
