Ugh I'm so glad Suprep wasn't that much liquid. I just can't drink that much even of good stuff. Good luck Judy.

lol, you're probably on the toilet. The thought of a prep is terrible to me, especially if it's golytely!! Good luck and I hope the scope report is flawless :)

Finished with the first half, second half in the morning. I'd never done a prep before without my anus being already raw; hurts a lot less this way.

Prep finished, just about
finished losing all my body fluids. I can drink for another half hour, but I'm being careful because I don't want to get things going again.
The rest of this is the easy part. My last few scopes have been completely normal except for the scarring from previous ulcerations, hope this one is also.

Done. This prep actually was the least horrible one I've ever done, maybe because I wasn't already raw and sore.
One tiny ulcer in the rectum, lots of diverticuli, otherwise normal. If the biopsies come back good, he's wanting to discontinue Remicaid to see how I do. Scares the heck out of me.

What is his reasoning for pulling you off?? If you have one small ulcer already who's to say it won't get worse once you quit?? I would be scared too so why mess with something that's obviously working right?

Ditto to Sherry. The reason you're doing so well is because of the remicade! I'd be terrified. Especially since you've been on it successfully with 8 years of remission. I feel if you went off it and it caused a flare that you wouldn't be able to go back to it.
On a side note, did you know you can eat gummy bears during prep? Found a YouTube channel of a girl who has UC so I was watching some of her videos and in one she talks about
the prep (she did MoviPrep) and then she held up life savers gummies and I was like uhhhhhh what?! Then I looked it up and an article said you could! Definitely going to ask my doctor when I have my next colonoscopy!

Doesn't sound like it's too bad "in there" that's good, but I agree with others....a little surprised your GI would consider pulling you off if you're getting better (still minor stuff going on but even at that) so not sure what the reasoning would be to pull you off of Remi...I assumed that so long as you're not having issues with Remi and it's working then they just keep you on it.
