Been on Uceris for about
3 weeks now. Things were going great! Had my check in appointment with my GI doctor on Friday and she said it sounded like I was finally healing. No more cramping, diarrhea, much less bleeding, much less urgency.
Then suddenly on Monday I developed what I can only describe as a hemorrhoid or sore though I haven't been able to physically feel it because I think it is right on the bum hole itself. Lucky me! It is sore and it hurts to lay down/sit sometimes. When I contract the muscle, it hurts. This wouldn't be a big deal except I also noticed that my diarrhea returned at almost the exact same time.
I am so depressed. Can Uceris suddenly stop working overnight? None of the other symptoms have returned. No cramping, no blood in stool. I don't know what to think. The diarrhea has been back for only about
24 hours and it isn't constant. Just very discouraging. I feel like I'm never going to get better.
