Red cheeks from Uceris?

This is my third day on Uceris 9mg, and today my cheeks are bright red. It looks like a sunburn, but that's impossible because I've been indoors for the past...I can't even remember LOL, I'm flaring so I barely leave the house.

Has anyone else experienced this while on Uceris (or other budesonide)? Should I be concerned?

Now that you mention it my cheeks were red the past 2 days. Like I got too much sun or wind except it hasn't been sunny where I live for like a week lol. I thought I just had a fever but couldn't find the thermometer. WebMd has a list of side effects and under rare it says redness of skin but not just the face. Fever is also a side effect so that's possible. I wouldn't be too concerned unless you start experiencing other side effects that could be an allergic reaction.

Thanks for the replies! It went away after a couple of hours so I guess it's nothing to panic about :) they did feel warmish but I don't have a thermometer either lol. I didn't feel feverish but then I rarely get fevers.

Guess I'll see if it happens again tomorrow. Other than this, Uceris is great! My guts are already feeling better and I have more energy...but without the awful Prednisone jitters. Yay for something working!

I call it the 'roid flush. I get it every time I take any kind of steroid. And it does feel warmish.

I never experienced that while I was taking Uceris.
