Best labs ever except...PROTEIN

Platelets down from 700's to 268.

RBC's in good numbers ( due to iron infusion )
WBC's hard to find.
Organs are all good.

Creatinine LOW - unusual as it is usually flagged high, stable but high. Result of protein breakdown ( creatine -> creatinine ).

However my PROTEIN was low again. Yet I eat protein at every meal. Eggs, chicken, tuna, beef and protein powder whey, cassein, veggie ( pea protein etc. ).

I take bromelain with the protein and do not see changes from consuming enzymes.

Is my UC related to failure to absorb proteins ? Never heard of that, the whole SCD story is about carbs not protein.

Not flaring but probably have some level of inflammation.

i remember someone on the Polish forum once wrote about his malabsorption of proteins. People gave him several tips, for example: meat should be cooked, steamed or stewed (frying or grilling meat reduces proteins), you shouldn't drink coffee after meals as it kills protein enzymes, spinach increases protein synthesis
