need opinon on what to do, anyone get sick with cold/flu after pred

OK so ive been in remission a little over a month and doing pretty good. I went off Pred 2 weeks and I got the cold/flu 3 days ago... Unreal, one thing after another. i think its because the pred lowers your immue system right? anyway, i might have to go to the doctor, hopefully not but i bet hes going to want to put me on antibiotics as i can feel this starting to go into my ear. I don't want to do that and take a chance on flaring again... Has anyone else had this happen? what did you do ride it out? I dont run to the doctor for a flu or cold but if it gets worse im might be pinched. thx

Ive taken Vicks dayquil. and some Cold eze.

don't think it is pred fault - especially weeks later.

you can try to push through with decongestants and cold meds. not a bad idea to get a culture, but you could just wait for evidence of infection in nasal discharge.
