I would use suppositories because it sounds urgent and you need that lubrication to get it out.
Your diet is pretty conducive to constipation: carbs and meat.
You can try eating pitted dates, raisins and prune juice. They are all very laxative. Canned coconut milk often does the trick too, unless coconut is a trigger for you. Don't go chugging a full bottle of prune juice or you might cause the opposite problem. Start small.
Fruit smoothies (without the skins) are awesome for helping to get things moving. Here's one that I have every day:
- 1 avocado
- handful blueberries
- handful raspberries
- half a banana
- half a green apple
- 1 tablespoon nut butter (like peanut, almond, cashew, whatever...)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
- water or some kind of milk, doesn't have to be dairy
When you get to the stage where stool is starting to firm up, you DON'T want it to become totally solid before the ulcers heal or you're going to be in crazy pain, and in some cases it can be dangerous. Likewise, you don't want to induce diarrhea or you won't be absorbing nutrition. So it's a delicate balance.
Sounds like you need a bit of the laxative effect right now.
