UC, Remicade treating for 10 years, now joint pain returning, help

Hello everyone, It's been a long while since I was on here as I was doing so well. The past few weeks I am beginning to wonder if my time on Remicade has come to an end. My last does was at 9 weeks, typically I was at 8 for a couple years and noticed the 9 was way over due. Since my infusion on 6/11/15, I have noticed joint pain in the right pointer finger and my left thumb, to the point there I have nearly dropped something in grasp. I have had severe hand/ finger pain back in 98 when in the middle of a flare and on a bunch of meds.

I was DXed with UC November 1995, was on nearly all the meds and reached remission several times on my own while off meds. My flares would get increasingly worse to the point in 2005 I considered surgery to remove my colon. After 3 bouts of pancreatitis, my doc took me off the steroids and put me on Remicade. For the first time I felt free to live my life and wasn't tied to a million pills and felt great. I had one flare due to stretching the dosing for 11-12 weeks. Other than that I have been great up until recently.

Would anyone have any incite if the joint pain now is signifying Remicade isn't working anymore? What options are out there to replace Remicade? I have been out of the loop for while now on UC research.

There are many other biologic medications that work with UC
If you find that you have developed antibodies to remicade they may recommend humira as the next drug
