The colonoscopy itself does not bother me and I am awake (sedated) through it.

Now if you find an article "Better Colonoscopy Preps", I'll be excited.

They have to figure it out current prep is torture
They could use moviprep and go lightly instead of Guantanamo bay

Sounds like new scopes will be narrower, less discomfort is always a good thing.

Yup, it's the prep that gets me too. I remember once when Mrs. wodin was having a c-scope (she doesn't have UC so she's not used to them) and she thought she was all cleaned out. So she went to sleep... it was ugly! and smelled bad!
