Ok so this is a strange one. I am finally have formed bms and I am down to about 6-8 bowel movements a day. HUGE improvement over the 20+ bloody ones just a week ago.
But every night at exactly 8:00....I vomit during my nightly bm and lose the precious calories I worked so hard to get in at me for dinner. It doesn't matter what I eat. Sometimes I am eating the same thing I did for lunch. (still on a low residue, no gluten, no dairy diet.)
The only thing I can think of is this might be some strange form of adrenal fatigue? Cortisol levels do drop at night.
It really is not that big of a deal except well....tomorrow is my birthday and I would like to actually go out to dinner and not vomit. Zofran doesn't seem to touch this one. I am not vomiting due to nausea. It is more due to the pain of the bm. It seems like when I push, everything pushes in both directions - up and down. It does't happen if I take tramadol but I am really trying to get off the pain killers now.
Has anyone else had this happen? And if yes, did it go away? Is it a sign that there is still a lot of inflammation? And could I be having withdrawal from the tramadol. I used to take tramadol every night at 8:00. Makes me suspicious.
