Should I stop Uceris?

I've been on it for two weeks now, don't notice an improvement but notice a constant urge almost all day now plus a little blood here and there. I've had urgencies prior to Uceris but not like this. Is two weeks to early to tell? Or is it obvious I should stop taking it. If I'm aware, you can abruptly stop Uceris after only a few weeks of taking it. I'll be calling my GI tomorrow but wanted your guys opinion. Thank you.

If symptoms are worse, it isn't working to stem the tide. Call your GI- perhaps there is something else that can help bridge the time. It didn't work for my daughter, but it has for some.

I hate to say it, but when my symptoms were like that, the uceris wasn't hurting; it just wasn't doing much - perhaps it was doing nothing, perhaps it was helping very minorly and things would have gotten worse, faster without it.
