Hair loss and apriso

Anyone have issues with hair loss from apriso? I'm taking 1.5 gram a day. I had been sick since May and started taking it a the beginning of July. Noticed the hair loss in August. My doctor may take me off it, but if it's helped so much I wouldn't mind staying on it as long as it eventually stops. I starts biotin. Dermatologist said the hair loss is either stress or medication induced. Does it eventually stop?

I lost a lot of hair when I started Asacol and then again with Apriso. It lasted a few months and then it stopped and grew back. It has already been a few months for you. have you noticed any slowing in the hairloss? 1.5g a day isn't a lot, I was taking 4800mg. Maybe you're sensitive :( I think I would try to give it another month and see how it goes. I lost a LOT of hair too, it was scary. I tried biotin but it didn't have me much.

Everytime I brush my hair it scares me. The hair loss has been going on for about 2.5 months. It might be slowing a little. The derm said its falling out at an earlier stage than its supposed to, and that means it will grow back and it's not permanent. I guess I will give the apriso longer. The only thing she said was the medicine is causing it, but I didn't know of that meant it would continue as long as I stay on the medicine. I'll give it awhile longer. My vit D is slightly low and I'm not anemic.

I have been loosing hair since before May.
I lost about 3/4 of what I used to have and it's scary. And depressing. I'm thinking of ditching my hair and getting a really good wig.
