First month of 6mp is this normal?

Were you flaring when you started taking it? How do your current symptoms compare to your symptoms before starting the drug?

I would agree with DBwithUC, at this point your 6mp hasn't yet reached therapeutic levels in your body and you're on a super low dose. The side effects you describe are likely coincidental.

At this point, expected sudeside effects would be nausea or a hyper-toxicity reaction expressed as elevated liver proteins in your liver function panel (hepatic) blood test results. It's extremely rare, you're being monitored specifically for that, and 6mp would be reduced or be discontinued if it occurred.

However, if you're worried about it than most certainty call your gastroenterologist office and describe it. Often it's best to be safe than sorry.

Thanks I will give it time. I'm better than when this started in April but I have never reached remission. I will try to be patient.
