Giving meds a chance

Hello again.
I want to get a general idea from this forum how long do you take the meds for without seeing much results before giving them up and moving in to something new in order to get out if a flare.

I was on Lialda + mesalamine enemas for about 6 weeks, it improved some symptoms but I was kind-off stuck in this plateau zone with occasional diarrhea and blood. After colonoscopy on 11/22 my GI put me in Uceris + Lialda. After 10 days on that things seemed to get worse. More diarrhea and more blood. Reported this to GI, she took me off Uceris and switched from Lialda to Apriso also restarted enemas. I've been on this combination for the past 10 days and see no improvements.
Am I being impatient, and should give it a bit more time. Or should I call GI to report that I see no major improvements.

Some people see differences, but most do not get dramatic differences form different mesalamines.

Usually, if UC is not fully controlled, something is added.

To see some result from different mesalamine and enemas in 10 days is possible. It can also take weeks.
