OT - Times on posts?

I just double checked my settings to make sure I have the right time zone on my profile, but the times I see are odd. For example, I just posted a reply at 3:20 PM eastern standard time and what is showing on the boards says it was posted at 4:08 PM. Why would the time showing be off like that?

the 3 and the 7 look alike when you're suffering from snow blindness - today is the first sun we've seen in DAYS !

My post shows 3:12 at test. The actual time is 3:24.

Regarding time zones....you have to go in and fiddle with however many hours could make it the right time for you. Sometimes I'm in mountain time...and I'm actually in central time. Ignore your time zone and work on the + or - to get it to where you like.

The above post is showing it was posted at 10:14 (GMT-5) and the actual time is 9:26 Eastern Standard time (UTC-5)

Anyone know what the difference between GMT & UTC?

It shows 7:15 for me. Greenwich Mean time?

Mine is wrong too but I know it's set to Pacific, which is the zone I am in.

Mine showed 7:24 and it's 6:37 here. I would imagine it was changed for day light savings at some point and now it's off. it should really get the time from a Time Server and automatically adjust.
