Anyone experience increased appetite when using cortifoam?

I'm trying to figure out why I have an increased appetite lately and think it's since I started to use cortifoam. Anyone else experience increased appetite? Thanks

i've never used coatiform before but I would think that would be a possible side effect - oral steroids sure do it -

is an increased appetite a bad thing for you - many times it's a good thing -

Not necessarily but I only have mild proctitus/uc so weight loss has not been a huge issue for me. I wake up in the morning now feeling really hungry and feel noticeably hungry several times during day even when I've eaten.

Yes, increased appetite is due to the steroid you're on. Cortifoam is a steroid, although it's 90 percent topical, some (10 percent) does get into your capillaries and causes side effects throughout the body. Rectal-route steroids are the equivalent of being on 7-10mgs of oral prednisone regarding the side effects you will experience. Mostly mild-intensity, lesser side effects are experienced. Still a pain in the butt, but nonetheless way better than prednisone.

Nope, never and I've been on Cortifoam many many times over the last 2 decades and even as long as a full year before tapering off of it and it never once increased my appetite...

Very little gets into the blood stream which is why it doesn't cause the same side effects as oral pred does. I never noticed any side effects what so ever whenever I was using Cortifoam.
