inflammation from where pelvic drain was

about a month ago, I had a drain in my pelvis to remove an abscess. Now there is minimal inflammation where the drain was. Can this be treated with medicine other than strong antibiotics? I got very bad anxiety when they tried doxycycline. Now, they want to try Clindamycin. Has anyone tried this and does it cause anxiety? Any alternative medicine ideas are welcome. Thank you.
