So, coming close to being on Lialda for a month. Past couple days my knees on down to my feet has been swollen. Called the doctor-says this is not a side effect of this drug and seems very concerned. Had me go for some blood tests after work which I did and will get the results today. THEN says he wants me to see the internist. I go tomorrow for that one. GAH! It is always something.
I did elevate my legs overnight and it seemed to help some. This is just strange. I don't have much salt in my diet and drink only water. My body is just wonky I guess. LOL Now, when I was on Prednisone along time ago, yeah, got the swollen legs then.
Has this happened to anyone out there?
AND...how long would you say that Lialda takes to start working? I have noticed that the times I go are a little less and spaced out more. Some times I go it really isn't much at all. So, I am hoping that it is working a little. Yes, will take some time to get back to me. I keep a log of each day, when I go, how it was, the food I eat, etc.
