Colonoscopy screwed things up for me too. Everyone thought i was crazy!
You are definitely not crazy... after all, the prep is drinking a laxative, I don't see how this
couldn't mess things up.

The last colonoscopy I had made a mess of my stomach also. That was a number of years ago and I don't remember for sure how long it took to recover, but it was weeks if not months before I stopped being overly sick and nauseous.
With the mention with wheat, I've seen testimonials of those avoiding wheat and seeing their UC improve. I don't know how common it is, but if not already being done might be worth a try to avoid wheat and see what happens.
My mom hates it and gets frustrated by the fact that I refuse to eat bread. I
know I am right.
Though from time to time, I do eat things that I can't resist, but bread isn't one of these things. Bread is just a filler 99% of the time.
I ate grissini a couple of days ago, and you can guess, I shat them out undigested the next day.

there is possibly motility thing going on. maybe not IBS. If it dies doen it was just a motility reaction to the scoping.
The prep can also be hard on gut microbes. Try to find a probiotic that makes you feel good.
Yea, but it's too much. My colonoscopy was on April the 6th !
I actually take 2 pills of probiotics a day, even though the producer says you should only take one pill a day. I also take a couple of pills of Omega-3. While my stool was formed, I actually noticed that there was a difference between taking and not taking Omega-3.
