In January we bought a major fixer upper home. My husband and I renovated it ourselves (we actually enjoy doing this stuff) so when we got our C of O in May of course we moved immediately. Can we say stressful? Lol But then just 2 weeks ago, my married daughter came home from Texas after she learned her husband was cheating on her. But she didn't come alone, she came with her crazy dog who I have to admit has calmed down tremendously since the last time she came home for a visit. So that makes 3 dogs in our household. THEN just this past Saturday she learned she was pregnant! I'm going to be a grandma!! :)
So please pardon my absence. Things have been extremely crazy here. But I just had share about
being a Gma. Lol I am beyond excited! I absolutely adore babies and children.

Sounds like perfect timing considering your new additions.
Please take time for you too, for I suspect things will be very busy for a new g'ma.

Thanks! :) And yes I adore dogs as well lol She has her first OB appt on Wednesday but she took a Clear Blue test and she is at least 5+ weeks. If that's the case then it's very possible she could have her baby on my bday in January or close to it lol

Indeed a good kind of craziness. I just wish she didn't have to learn of this with her pending divorce. And he's being a complete jerk about
it. He's an emotional psychopath and making it feel as if it's her fault that she left him. Which is why she is going to wait until he's back in Texas (he's here in MI for 2 weeks) until she tells him about
the pregnancy. He's really not mentally stable at the moment. So unfortunately she's going to be tied to him for at least 18 years. But we couldn't be happier! Lol She's slender built and she's already got a slight baby bump.
Thanks for the congrats :)

Oh my gosh, what a lot you've had going on! I'd be going insane by now, LOL.
What a time to learn of a pregnancy. This read a bit like a soap opera, haha. Maybe you should create an internet reality show.
Seriously though, your daughter's husband sounds just awful and that's no laughing matter. I hope he does not come back out to MI when he learns of the pregnancy. I'm glad to hear she is feeling happy about
it.

Feels like I'm in a soap opera at times! Lol And no worries about
him coming back anytime soon. He's active military.

Sherry, I have missed you on the forum, but figured you went AWOL working on the house. Did your hubby get to the 2nd bathroom installation yet? Sorry to hear that your SIL turned out unreliable, though. Maybe your daughter should still wait a few months to tell him about
the pregnancy. He could start missing her & realize how he has messed up. Wishing you all the best ... / Old Hat (35 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Hi OH! I still come on the forum and respond when I can. And other times I just read but usually someone else responds with great advice :) But no to the second bathroom yet. All of this happened so suddenly. We are making do tho. My hubby and kids know my bathroom needs are priority. I don't if you believe in these things, but my good friend did a pendulum on my daughter. If this true then I am getting a grandson! She had her first OB visit today and is going in for an ultrasound on July 6th to find out how many weeks she is.
