We all have medical costs. If your situation is life or death, you should be more willing to spend the money. I don't think these high deductible plans should exist. They only benefit the insurance companies, not individuals. Let's get people decent plans so they can afford costs... At the same time, you (the customer) chose the plan. Actually, it could be worse, it could be $2000 a pen. I am spending more than that yearly on my out of pocket... which for some reason no one cares about, but when it's for allergy sufferers, it's an issue. If you spend $1000 + your premiums, I think you're doing alright - better than a lot of people. Funny how people are unaware that this is the case - they must think no one spends a penny. I am sure I've been getting ripped left and right on every drug i've ever taken. 18k for Remicade? 15k for entyvio? $1000 for Canasa??? $1000 for Xifaxan? It's the system - not that specific drug.
