LDN for proctitis?

I've done a little preliminary research and I know a few on the boards have had success with LDN for ulcerative colitis. Wondering if it's also effective for ulcerative proctitis? I'm seeing my doc Wednesday and determined to be more firm that we need a new treatment plan. (as previously mentioned on here, he has only treated me with oral mesalamines - which are now going straight through me - and switching back and forth between topical mesalamines and steroids bc he doesn't want to "over treat" as my inflammation is limited to rectum only, a few inches.) been in the flare a year and totally miserable now as it's gotten awful in the last 5 weeks or so. Want to present him with some choices to consider since last time we talked he made it sound like the other option besides topicals was pred and that seems like he's skipping a few options. Sick of living like this.
