Is it ok to get the flu shot while on Humira?

It is not a live vaccine, so why would it not be OK.

Biologics do not lower immune system as much as immune-suppresants, and here there is no live bacteria or virus to even combat.

Double check if any doc wants to ever give you a live vaccine.

Yes, it's recommended that you get an annual flu shot while on humira as you're at increased risk of getting the flu due to its systematic immunosuppression. I believe they did away with the nasal-spray live flu viruses. They shoulder shot is a dead flu vaccine and therefore fine.
