Hello,
this is probably not the right place to post, but I don't know where else I could get help. (Aside from from doctors.) I have left-sided UC, now in remission since September, taking Pentasa Sachet 2g and 1g every other day. I'm on a vegan diet, which has helped me get into remission, also eating gluten free, sugar free, minimum salt, no processed food.
On Sunday evening my stomach started making loud soungs. On Monday morning I woke up with nausea and stomach pain, it felt like if I had a stone there. I stayed in bed, the pain was bearable. After 4 hours I felt better so throughout the day I ate bananas, apples, plain gf oatmeal and in the evening well cooked vegetables. After dinner my stomach started hurting again. I tried activated charcoal but it didn't help. On tuesday I woke up with nausea and stomach pain again, the pain was there for the whole day, I ate fruit, plain gf oatmeal, in the evening cooked vegetables and baked potatoes. After the dinner I felt really good. There was no pain or anything. I went to sleep around 23:30, woke up at 3am and stayed up till 8am. The pain was so bad, I felt like throwing up but couldn't. Stomach was very bloated and I couldn't sleep because of the pain. After 8am it got a bit better and I felt asleep. Now I'm very hungry, but afraid to eat anything. Also very weak because of the lack of food. It just feels like if my stomach couldn't digest food.
I should get my period this week and I read that nausea and digestive issues could be part of PMS. But I'm not sure, this is kinda harsh... I had digestive issues for my whole life but never experienced anything like this.
