whats wrong with me? fevers

I really don't know what's wrong with me and neither does any other doctor it seems.
when I get abdominal pain (though not really diarrhoea), I always have a high WCC.
I have also been getting high temperatures with a high WCC and abdo pain. Constipation and diarrhoea just alternate.
My GI team don't know what it is because I haven't had bleeding and previous colonoscopies have been normal since my diagnosis really.
any ideas? idea

When was the last time you had your stool checked for C Diff, the symptoms are the same as you are describing, C Diff isn't always diarrhea.

nope not c-diff. its been happening on and off for a few years, but just seems worse recently.
not been on any antibitoics either

so you are not in a flare at all?? that is very weird to have all of these symptoms if you are in remission.

Have they consulted infectious disease doc for your case?

maybe some gynecological issues, ovaries?

what were you DX'd with and when ?

what meds are you on ?

when was your last c-scope ?

Iwas diagnosed with UC in 2010. well I alternate from diarrhoea and constipation. I don't know what in gynae would cause a high WCC and fevers on and off apart from an abscess which clearly its not as it wouldn't come and go.
I'm on no IBD meds.
My last scope was probably in the sumer, but that and calprotectins have been normal really.
well if you had ongoing fevers they should do more tests, but its not all the time, just every so often. my GP just fobs me off with antibitoics if I have a temperatue but I didn't even bother taking them last time, theres no point if they don't even know its an infection. if its IBD wouldn't be much use

were you never given meds to treat your UC ?

sounds to me more like infectious colitis - i would certainly ask for more testing -

Low grade fevers are common for some with IBD. Usually just during flares
